Solace has Trained Volunteer Support Workers, all who have experienced the death of their partner. They have been trained by Professional Educators to conduct the work of Grief Support.

GRIEF MANAGEMENT TRAINING COURSE:

The first Grief Management Training program was originally designed and conducted by Harold E. Jones. It commenced in the beginning of 1984 with 11 widowed people successfully graduating.
Since then many people have volunteered their time to be trained in Grief Management Skills.This is their way of giving back to others, what they have received themselves.

There are a number of other Professionals who are now conducting the Grief Management Training Courses in which SOLACE people successfully graduate.
